In order to take advantage of all that Montana has to offer, Sam, Troy, and their families will be arriving in Montana several days before the wedding and invite you to join them! Below is our rough itinerary and more details are available in the Googledoc. If you plan to join us but do not see your name in the doc — definitely let Sam & Troy know they can add you!

Schedule

Monday (9/6)

• Arrive in Kalispell
• Dinner at Belot Chalet Restaurant + Tap Room

Tuesday (9/7)

• White water rafting

Wednesday (9/8)

• Glacier National Park day hikes

Thursday (9/9)

• Morning - Sam + Troy head to Flathead Lake Lodge.
• Afternoon - Make your way over to the Lodge for the formal wedding festivities to begin! The rest of the guests will arrive at this time and activities are available onsite.

Housing

Book early! Most of the housing inside the park is already booked and the remaining availability will go quickly.

For Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, we encourage you to book housing near the West Entrance to Glacier National Park -- near Apgar, West Glacier, Coram, or along the US-2 should be convenient (The east side of the park is 3 hours away!). Troy and Sam will be staying at the at the Glacier Raft /Outdoor Center with their families.

The Great Northern Resort and the Belton Chalet are other hotels in the area. There are also numerous large VRBO and Airbnb properties available nearby.

Campsites are available. Apgar and Fish Creek campsites open for booking 6 months prior to arrival at recreation.gov.

Transportation

A rental car is probably the best option for transportation. Ride shares do exist but will be less convenient to go between housing, the park, and Flathead Lake. We highly encourage sharing among family and friends!
